Access Education: Johannesburg Scholars
Access Education: Johannesburg Scholars
The Access Education Johannesburg Scholars program was created in 2022 to identify potential program candidates through local middle schools. Students who demonstate both academic potential and financial need can apply for IFGI sponsorship to attend an approved High School / Boarding School in the Johannesburg, South Africa region.
This program is also a collaborative effort between IFGI and a nonprofit organization, Investing for Innovation (IFI). Their engagement with the students, their families, and the schools make the program work.
For 2025, we have 4 students in the Johannesburg Scholars: 2 at Krugerdorp High, one at Hoerskool Bekker, and one attending Glenwood in Durban. Our goal is toexpand this program over the next 5 years.
Please help us continue our efforts to provide a quality education to children in rural South Africa so they are empowered to make a difference in their communities.
