Researcher in Residence
This program will bring academic researchers to Greensboro, NC to work on specific projects or research questions related to IFGI’s mission, and will promote collaboration and knowledge exchange between different sectors and communities.
We hope that by providing housing and other related benefits to researchers, our local community can access specialized expertise and resources that can help us to address specific challenges.
Tech for Greensboro 2024
This program will assess “technology deserts” in our local community, and address dispariries in access to technology tools and training. We hope to provide resources to Immigrants, Refugees, and the Underserved in Greensboro. We seek partnerships in this endeavor within the refugee resettlement community as well as the City of Greensboro.

Charitable Giving in NC
According to a report from the Office of the NC Secretary of State, charitable giving up in NC this year despite state of economy. Licensed fundraisers collected $47,584,598.39 for the charity and nonprofit organizations with which they’re working. That’s a $13.5 million — 40% — increase from overall giving in North Carolina in 2020-2021.
